The scenic route version.
2014 - 2025
Spoiler:
it all connects.

I’m Kamila, a designer, 29, based in Risskov, Denmark, with roots in Poland. (from Gorzów Wielkopolski... yes, it's a fun one to pronounce). I'm a designer focused on shaping human-centred digital experiences. My goal is simple: tech that feels intuitive and maybe slightly less like talking to a wall. This comes from a creative journey that definitely didn't follow the instructions, ongoing fascination with psychology (humans are comlex), and the simple fact that focusing only on the shiny details often means missing the actual point.
a puzzle (of life).svg
It all started with a camera, but my curiosity had other plans. I tried being a manicure artist (talk about attention to detail), attempted landscape architecture for a year (didn't stick), and finally discovered that throwing acrylic paint around is actually pretty therapeutic.

Turns out, being multi-passionate isn't a bug, it's a feature (sounds familiar?)
connecting the dots.svg
I'm good at connecting seperate worlds. It helps me see the bigger picture, translate viewpoints (teams, users, tech), and spot those non-obvious solutions that lead to more impactful, human-friendly experiences. It's about building bridges, not just staying in one lane.
Today, all off it converges in UX/UI and digital experience design, where I get to simplify the complex and make things genuinely work for people.
The psychology angle? I’ve always been fascinated by human behaviour (spoiler: it’s complicated and rarely rational). My path went from popular psychology → social and cognitive science ('Thinking, Fast and Slow' certainly left a mark) → deep cognitive and behavioural work to better manage my own brain day-to-day. For you, that translates to more intuitive products, fewer user headaches, and solutions that genuinely connect.

Great ideas are lovely, but they don't launch themselves – that requires project management. I try to manage expectations, keep communication flowing, and generally prevent things from going off the rails. (Even got a fancy PM diploma recently, just to prove I'm serious about well-managed chaos).
My usual design process boils down to: be curious, try things, talk to people. Strategy, iteration, and learning are just part of the deal.
You’ve made it this far. There's more to a human than the pixels can show. Talk to me about something meaningful.
Based in Risskov, Denmark, but truly remote-capable (the testimonials might mention it...). Looking for work from Spring/Summer 2025.

Nice things others said
(cliché… but true)
My experience working with Kamila has been overwhelmingly positive. Kamila's approach to design is both meticulous and user-centric. Her ability to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly has made our working relationship incredibly productive.
She is always open to learning and brings a positive attitude to every project. The quality of her work is consistently high, and she is committed to continuous improvement.
Kamila's design skills are amazing. She pays attention to detail, has a clear structure during the design process and always keeps the user's experience in mind. Kamila is also considerate of inclusion and diversity in her designs. On top of that she is also creative and able to provide variety and multiple options if needed.
Even though working mostly remotely with Kamila, the working collaboration has been going very well. Kamila is a good communicator and easy to work with.
Her design process is very efficient and she is always able to deliver fast with high quality. Kamila dares to challenge and is open minded when iterating on concepts.
Kamila's deep UX/UI knowledge proved amazing during the time we worked together, especially during the rebranding. Her vision, creative solutions, and communication skills were of great value to this project.
Her curiosity and interest in sharing information inspired me to start doing the same. She's very proactive in keeping relationships close, even when working remotely full-time.
Working with Kamila on creative projects was so enjoyable... and she's an excellent designer and a true pleasure to work with. I'll miss our discussions for sure!
